Just to let you all know, I will be using a different web address in a few days for my WordArt site. My blogger account storage is almost full, so I'm making a switch. My blogger storage is at 95%, and I don't know how much longer it will hold out :)

The Mother of All Messes

Yesterday's WordArt, "Who Made This Mess?" was just perfect for my family and I, so I decided to make another one. We have so many messes, than one WordArt wasn't sufficient! Here's a second. The quote is from "The Cat In The Hat" movie, with Mike Myers. My 2 year old LOVES it, and we have much of it memorized. He likes it, only slightly behind Cars. I can practically quote that whole movie!

Full Time Mother

This is DEFINITELY me! I so love the time that I get to spend with my kids each day. You know, when we decided to pull the kids out of regular school this past late fall, I thought that I would go insane with kid under toe all waking hours of the day. I know in the past, that summer vacation drove me INSANE!

But I must say, I've enjoyed having my children with me more than I ever thought possible. Having your kids home all summer with no direction is a TOTALLY different thing than having them at home, doing school, being productive all day. Big distinction:)

Anyway, I loved this thought, and I do feel like I have "big paydays" when my kids come and say how much they love me and like to be around me. Thanks kids! I love you guys ;)

Take It or Leave It

So, since I started this WordArt site last week, I've been putting 4 new WordArts on a day. Well, today, I only have 3. Sorry :) I was so sick most of the day. I get migraines occasionally, and today happened to be one of them. Try being sick, and a homeschool mom! Doesn't work too well :) Anyway, I did manage to make 3 new WordArts today. We moved out here to Ohio 6 months ago from Chicago area, and have yet to sell our house back there. We are temporarily renting a small house from a woman at church, but it is WAY small for our family. Anyway, our dining room table no longer has space in this house, so we took all the leaves out of it, and only have 1 chair and 2 benches. My 2 year old, Jim, loves to pull those chairs and benches around and be naughty on the kitchen counters. For those of you with 2 year old boys, or who have once had 2 year old boys, you know what I'm talking about.

So, we have to put the chairs and benches ON TOP OF the table, which works really well for eating meals together. hehehe. Here are the little kids, eating food on the floor. I know, I'm a mean mom. One of these days, we'll be out of the "push the chairs to make a mess" stage. Hopefully sooner than later :)

Aren't my kids just adorable! Here are 2 of the 5, hard at work. Ok, if you look at their screens, you'll see they're playing on games on the internet. So maybe they're not hard at work. But, to earn the right to play on the games, they have to do their lessons, complete them on time, and have a positive attitude! Not too much to ask.

Actually, all 3 of them are doing wonderfully in this program. I highly recommend K12 to anyone who has the program available in their area.

I actually was done with WordArt for the night, and was going to post some pictures for my mom on my other blog, when I came across this wonderful frame on DigiScrap Depot. It's a freebie from Schaarka, and it's wonderful! I knew I just had to use it with my adorable kids. I'd just taken pictures of them, right before bedtime, and they were all being so cute! I used a freebie kit from Ellie Lash, called Love Actually (there are about 9 designers who collaborated to each make freebie Love Actually kits. You should go check it out!) Awe, I know this is true. My own grandma always had cookies and hugs ready for us. I was really blessed to grow up in the same town that both sets of my grandparents live in! WELL, since my family is home sick from church with Strep Throat, I decided that a good use of my time would be to create some WordArt that's "churchy". Thats a nice Sunday activity, don't you think? I love my man, and know that he does an outstanding job! Sure, men and women are different, and we approach things TOTALLY different, but it's those differences that make us work well as a whole. Cub Scouts Insignas
