MOVING TO NEW BLOG ADDRESS!

Hey all! I'm all set up on my new blog address. Really, it's just the same look as the last one. Apparently, I could have bought space from blogger, but I'm cheap....er...that's frugal!

Childs Play

How true this is. I love to "spy" on my kids when they are "hard" at play. So cute!

Thanks to Dodo for the wonderful layout! What a cute kit that is. You really did do a great job with it! Thanks so much for sharing :)

Blueprints

I SO loved this quote! I have fond memories of making forts in the living room as a kid, and my kids do it now that I'm a mom. Such a good time!

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

When I woke up this morning, the sun was shining through the window, and my first thought was to take the kids to the park. Then, I remembered it was winter, and a LITTLE too cold to go outdoors! I thought this WordArt was appropriate for today!

Take It or Leave It

So, since I started this WordArt site last week, I've been putting 4 new WordArts on a day. Well, today, I only have 3. Sorry :) I was so sick most of the day. I get migraines occasionally, and today happened to be one of them. Try being sick, and a homeschool mom! Doesn't work too well :) Anyway, I did manage to make 3 new WordArts today. Hope you enjoy :)

We moved out here to Ohio 6 months ago from Chicago area, and have yet to sell our house back there. We are temporarily renting a small house from a woman at church, but it is WAY small for our family. Anyway, our dining room table no longer has space in this house, so we took all the leaves out of it, and only have 1 chair and 2 benches. My 2 year old, Jim, loves to pull those chairs and benches around and be naughty on the kitchen counters. For those of you with 2 year old boys, or who have once had 2 year old boys, you know what I'm talking about.

So, we have to put the chairs and benches ON TOP OF the table, which works really well for eating meals together. hehehe. Here are the little kids, eating food on the floor. I know, I'm a mean mom. One of these days, we'll be out of the "push the chairs to make a mess" stage. Hopefully sooner than later :)

I used Kit Boreal by Sylvie Scrapbook and WordArt by me to make this page.

A Mother's Heart

I really liked this one. While I originally intended it to be used in a homeschool setting, it doesn't have to. Because, wether or not you are your childs "educational" teacher, you still teach your child. They learn from you because you love them. You want the best for them. Anyway, liked this quote, and wanted to share it with you :)

Homeschooling

Today's idea comes to us from Sharon, who, like myself is a homeschool mom. We should be able to use these in our school layouts, don't you think!

Aren't my kids just adorable! Here are 2 of the 5, hard at work. Ok, if you look at their screens, you'll see they're playing on games on the internet. So maybe they're not hard at work. But, to earn the right to play on the games, they have to do their lessons, complete them on time, and have a positive attitude! Not too much to ask.

Actually, all 3 of them are doing wonderfully in this program. I highly recommend K12 to anyone who has the program available in their area.

I used Coffee Ritual by Becky Smith and WordArt by me to make this page.

Pledge

For as many scouting events as we go on, this was a DEFINATE! I love our country, and the pledge of allegiance, and Scouting, and all things patriotic. This just seemed appropriate!

Difference is Special

For the times when we try to be just like everyone else, keep this in mind!

Fathers

I really like this quote. It really is so important for kids to know that Dad loves Mom, and that Mom loves Dad :)

Siblings / Brothers / Sisters

This idea came from Tara, who needed some WordArt for her layout of her husband and his sister. While I was at it, I decided to use Brother and Sister as well. Hope you like it, Tara!

Smallish Things

I actually was done with WordArt for the night, and was going to post some pictures for my mom on my other blog, when I came across this wonderful frame on DigiScrap Depot. It's a freebie from Schaarka, and it's wonderful! I knew I just had to use it with my adorable kids. I'd just taken pictures of them, right before bedtime, and they were all being so cute! I used a freebie kit from Ellie Lash, called Love Actually (there are about 9 designers who collaborated to each make freebie Love Actually kits. You should go check it out!) Anway, I wanted a quote for the page, and decided to make a new WordArt. Hope you like!

Thanks so much, Dodo, for this wonderful layout! What a fun one it is. Love the bright colors! It totally captures those perfect summer days! Can't wait for them to come around again ;)

Best, Worst, and Suprised

If I get around to it, I'll come back and attach a cute page I have in mind to make. This quote is SO my life!

For those of you out there who spell better than I do, yes, I noticed that surprised is spelled wrong. I've gone back and added the "r", and when you click on the WordArt above, it will be corrected on 4shared. Sorry. My 8th grade Language Arts teacher said that I was a terrible speller! I guess he was right!

Grandma

Awe, I know this is true. My own grandma always had cookies and hugs ready for us. I was really blessed to grow up in the same town that both sets of my grandparents live in! Unfortunately, for my kids, my parents live in Oregon, my husbands parents live in North Carolina, and we live in Ohio. Oops. :(

I like to look for Rainbows

Here's a new WordArt for TC who has a baptism coming up in March. I, myself, had a baptism in the family this past Thanksgiving, and I think I'll go back and scrap those with this neat WordArt. We actually sang this song as the opening song. I do love it :)

Return with Honor

Here's a new WordArt for Cherri, but I'm sure more of you can use it! I, personally, always liked this saying. It inspires me to always do my best :)

Flowers Elements

I just love flowers, and I thought they would inspire me, or at least make me excited for spring! It snowed again today, and while the kids enjoyed playing in it, I didn't really enjoy my drive to Wal-mart in the slushy mess :)

I Am Unwritten

What a beautiful thought! Just loved it. I decided to put both with the ink and quill, and without it. Take your pick :)

Baby to Man

Someone a few days ago asked about quotes for teens. I think these qualify. It was original the "man"quote, but I decided to make a "woman" one also. Hope you enjoy.

Tests and Prayer

Ha! Isn't this the truth. I can remember praying many a time over a test that I wasn't prepared for (even for the ones I was prepared for!). Hehehe.

A Mind Once Stretched

I do like this quote. I think that I'll use it in a scrap page of my kids at school. It'll be cute :)
